Axial bearing washers AS are suitable for axial needle roller and cage assemblies AXK. They are punched, through hardened, polished and suitable for use as shaft or housing locating washers. Housing locating washers are externally centered, shaft locating washers are internally centered. They are used if the adjacent machine parts cannot be used as a raceway for the rolling elements but are sufficiently rigid and geometrically precise.
